Mission
The Collaboration Corp creates accessible programs in music, art, design, information, and technology that bring Charlotte communities together. Through shared creative experiences and welcoming spaces, we help young people and emerging artists develop life skills, grow personally and professionally, and find opportunities to create, collaborate, and belong.
Our Vision + Future Plans
Our vision is a Charlotte where creative participation opens pathways to connection, skills, opportunity, ownership, and leadership. We are growing Sound Makers Social, Crafts for the People, and PULSE Xperience while strengthening partnerships, board development, and sustainable program delivery.
In development: Common Thread connects designers and music producers through original work, presentations, listening experiences, and hands-on creative participation. BLENDED PATHWAYS is a proposed model connecting education, paid creative work, mentorship, and public experiences. Both depend on funding, partner commitments, and final scheduling. Creative Currency is growing as a practical resource and learning platform.
Long-term vision: a permanent multidisciplinary community hub for learning, making, collaboration, exhibitions, and performance. We are also exploring a community garden and fruit-and-produce park, beginning with land, funding, partnerships, and operating feasibility. These concepts have no confirmed property acquisition or opening date.

The Collaboration Corp is a Charlotte-based nonprofit connecting communities through accessible creative programs and opportunities for learning, expression, and growth.
Our history is deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Charlotte. We believe that art, music, design, and technology should be accessible to everyone. By developing people and supporting artists, we strive to strengthen our communities and create a legacy of creative excellence.
Today, we continue to grow through our programs, including Sound Makers Social and Crafts for the People. We are dedicated to providing accessible workshops and cultural experiences that empower the next generation of creatives and strengthen the Charlotte community for years to come.
