Sound Makers Social returned in 2026 as a free community-centered music series designed to bring producers, DJs, artists, creatives, and music lovers into the same room.
The series ran from February through June, with programs at Dupp&Swat and a June finale at PINE.
More than a performance format
Sound Makers Social is built around participation and discovery. Featured producer sets, DJs, artist participation, music sharing, cyphers, visual art, vendors, and informal conversation create multiple ways for people to enter the experience.
What the program is designed to support
Creative relationships and collaboration
Visibility for producers, DJs, and artists
Music discovery
Accessible cultural participation
Stronger connections across Charlotte's music community
The Collaboration Corp is continuing to strengthen how the program documents participation, artist support, partnerships, and outcomes so future recaps can include verified impact data alongside the stories and experiences that make the program meaningful.
Sound Makers Social is part of The Collaboration Corp's larger commitment to creative access, development, community connection, and economic opportunity.
